Mercy's Vessel was formed in the mid-summer of 2007 as a result of each of its' members individual desire to serve God through the ministry of music. 

Our desire is to put Jesus first in all we do so others will come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We look forward to seeing what God has in store for us as we follow Him.

John McPherson is the group's Tenor singer.   He spends much of his time on the road, during the day making deliveries to super markets and singing on the weekends.   He has served as a music minister and has been a part of other SG singing groups.   Among his interests are soccer, bass fishing, and gospel music!  His favorite scripture verses are Ephesians 2:8-9.   John and his wife, Joanne have been married since 1976 and reside in Orrstown, Pa.   They have a daughter and a son.

Daniel Harmon is the group’s Baritone singer.  He retired from the USAF as an Instructor Flight Engineer on C141’s in 1998 and now works as a Network Administrator for PA Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES).  He has served as a music director in several churches during his career and has been a part of other SG singing groups.  He enjoys gospel music, woodworking and building computers.  His favorite scripture verse is 1 Corinthians 10:31.  Daniel currently lives in Dillsburg, Pa. and has been married to his wife Dawn since 1980. They have 2 daughters, a son and now three grand childen.

James Zendarski is the group's Lead singer.  He has worked as a cook for the past 25 years.  He has served as a background vocalist for the praise and worship group "Lion of Judah Ministries" for about ten years.  He has performed in youth rallies, men's meetings and revival services.  He is an avid bowler and plays on a league.  His favorite scripture verse is Isaiah 40:31.  James was married for 20 years before his wife went home to be with the Lord in 2006.  He currently lives in Clearspring, Maryland and has 2 daughters and 1 grandson.
